Curriculum Goal

The Diploma in Midwifery program offered by the Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC) is a comprehensive three-year initiative aimed at equipping midwives with the necessary skills to practice autonomously. Its curriculum encompasses a broad spectrum of general, foundational, and professional courses meticulously crafted to foster a deep understanding of the world, human behavior, and societal dynamics, while also imparting indispensable knowledge pertinent to nursing and midwifery.

Upon successful completion of the program and passing the comprehensive examination, BNMC confers licensure, granting individuals the authority to practice as Registered Midwives in Bangladesh. This licensure underscores their competency and readiness to deliver quality midwifery care within the country's healthcare system.
